Greek Artist Magdalena Papanicolopoulou (LinkedIn) along with Salvadorian design professor Leila Hernandez both created this stunning typography workshop.
The individuals explored phonetic, structure analysis, process and calligraphy art making along with an array of exercises to connect and explore syllables, structures and distinctive alphabets. I participated and documented the weekend workshop and created a typography design concept that was exhibited at UTPA University central library (circa 2011).
Senior students got a deep understanding of the substance and importance of typography as a progressive medium which allows us to interpret and communicate ideas, emotions and other concept messages, particularly for creative writers and designers.
